Tom Rosenthal Music

This month has been quite interesting,
I have been listening to music a whole lot more recently due to my new computer, I downloaded spotify however im not a huge fan, the fact that i cant skip a song frustrates me and im sorry but im not going to pay £9.99 each month for a music service (sorry again).. On my lookout for a new music provider thingy like spotify i found a website called Rdio , its exactly the same as spotify except you can pick and choose the songs that you listen too which is great right? so guys scrap spotify and get yourselves onto Rdio!!

Anyway back to the point, I thought that I would share with you a new artist  that I have been into over the past month. You may not find this interesting but im always interested in what other people listen too. I get inspired and end up falling in love with them! Might I just say that some of these songs may be from years and years ago but I think they are great.  My favorite type of music recently has been quite reflective and slow, and songs that make me feel something. And I have noticed that the type of music that I listen too normally reflects on how im feeling in that moment of time which I find quite interesting !

 Tom Rosenthal

found this artist when watching Will Darbyshire's video 'Sunday' which featured the song 'have we met before' since then I have fallen in love with the artist, I find him inspiring and his songs are well thought of. I would say that his style is folk and im not normally into this however I have been converted and now a folk lover. My favorites from his albums are..

I know that this has been a bit of a strange post and we haven't really talked that much but I would really like it if you checked him out! Its also a great way to get to know what I like and dislike so we can become better friends :)

who have you been listening too over the past month?

Dreams , Places And The Future You.

I would say that I'm a dreamer, I like to imagine what my life will be like in the future and who I will be in the years to come. Sometimes when I'm bored I like to make lists and life plans on how I want my life to act out ignoring the little tangents which may lead me off into other paths and try to prevent me from not reaching my goal. And a big question I frequently get asked is 'what is your aspiration in life?' and although I totally agree with Beyonce's answer to this question to be happy, I find it difficult to find a true explanation on what I really want to achieve. I feel as though I want to make a mark from being here in this world (bit deep I know) but I don't just want to be sat here forever watching Netflix and forever refreshing my news feed on twitter. One of my aspirations in life is to visit as many places as I can in the world, I love seeing new cultures and meeting new people and so I thought that I would share a list of a few places that I would like to visit before I die, a little bit like a bucket list but only for places. I thought that this maybe a good idea as it might motivate myself to go to these places and that in years to come I can look back at this blog and feel happy that I achieved these things.

5 Places I would like to visit before I die.

1) ITALY-I think that my love started for Italy started after I watched the movie 'Eat, Pray, Love'. I was so Inspired from this movie to travel around the world and 'find myself' and quite frankly I could do with that right now. I love everything about Italy, I  love the fact that at lunch there's no quick and easy £3 meal deal or a grab a bite to eat and go, each meal is sat down, friends and                                                        families come together and its such a lovely event. Here                                                    in England people have no time to sit down with each                                                        other to have lunch where's in Italy they make time.

2)BALI -Bali is another place which was in the 'Eat, Pray,Love' movie, It looks like such a magical place from the movie and this picture. The culture of the Island is just so beautiful. The wildlife and buildings are the things that attract me to the Island the most. I want to go to Bali to master the art of mediation and relaxations, this is something which is very popular in the Island and its something that interests me a lot.

3)NEW YORK-I love New York! , Everything appeals to me. I love the fact that there's so much going on in the City all the time, full of people and nightlife. I love all the lights and i think that the city would be overwhelming to visit especially compared to London. However I feel like I was meant to live in a place like New York a little like Carrie Bradshaw with the dreams and aspirations...If I had it my way then I would be chief editor of a high end beauty magazine strolling down the upper east side                                                          of Manhattan drinking a Coffee Frapachnio in my Jimmy                                                  Choo's (DREAM ON).

4) PARIS- The city of light. I love Paris, even though I have never been there before i still think that is so beautiful. I want to visit the Eiffel Tower, The Louvre, Notre dame de Paris but also the Lock bridge. Paris fashion is stunning people are dressed to impress and the culture is terrific. I love everything about this city let alone the country and the language is so romantic C'est belle . Id love to get married in Paris.

5)AMSTERDAM- Ever since The fault in our stars, this has been a place that I have wanted to visit. It looks so beautiful, I want to go to Amsterdam so I can visit the Anne Frank house and the Vincent Van Gough museum, these are two people who I find are very inspiring. Anne Franks diary was one of the first books that I properly read and it left a dramatic effect on myself and the way I saw the world. As you may know i am an Art lover and                                                     Vincent Van Gough is my favorite artist (lover of                                                                  impressionism) and so to visit his museum and see                                                          some of his actual work would be amazing.

I hope you have liked this post as I have enjoyed sharing some of these magical places that I would like to visit with you. But these are only a small section of a whole list full, a list that would take forever to write. I would really recommend writing a list of places or things that  you would like to do by the time the clock ends. Its always good to have dreams and aspirations I think that i helps you to get through times that are hard and it makes the times that are better even more enjoyable. as long as you live in the now and enjoy the time you have now then dreaming will never hurt anybody and so dream on peeps.

I Love Bare Minerals!

I remember the first time I got proper makeup, not that rubbish that you get in a plastic phone, or the freebie stuff that comes with the lellie Kellie shoes but actual real makeup and it was Bare Minerals. My mum had always said that if i was to start wearing it then I should wear the real stuff. Over the years i have started to love the brand even more and begun to experiment with more of their products. Here are a few of my favorites and what i think of them, just to let you know that i am a 16 year old girl not a makeup artist so these are just my opinions on the products!!

Maximum coverage concealer brush £14.00-  This brush is great for concealer and really helps to give maxi um coverage in the areas where you have blemishes and red patches. I like to apply my concealer using my fingers as i feel like i get get it in the places which i need it the most and so i don't use this brush all the time. I don't think that this is a must have in their brand however if you use concealer regularly then this may be a product for you.

Full coverage kabuki brush £24.00 - I love this brush for blush, i think that this is my favorite brush in the bare mineral brand. I think that the Bare Mineral brushes can be hit and miss sometimes and the quality is not perfect which isn't great, especially the amount you pay for them. However the kabuki brush seems to hold the hair well and I never seem to get annoying fallen pieces of hair that has broken out of the brush stick to my face. So if you are planning on buying a Bare Minerals brush i do think that the best thing to do before hand is look at reviews on them as some can be a bit rubbish but my favorite brush is this kabuki.

Angled blush brush £13.50- I like to use this brush for my bronzer even though it says blush (breaking the rules) its good for contouring the cheek bones and can be good for blending, but like i have said with the other brushes i do find this brush doesn't last that long, even if you wash them and look after them as much as you can they still shed hairs. However it is still a good brush.

Flawless application brush £24.00- This was the first brush i got from bare minerals and i use this to apply my mineral foundation. I really did like this brush but i realized that it shed hair quite easily even after the first few times of application , i find this annoying especially when you pay £24 you expect it to last longer and for the quality to be a bit better and so it is a bit of a let down. However i do think that you should test this brush out for yourself , you never know it could work for you and maybe i just have some bag brush luck!

Precision concealer brush £14.50 - Compared to the maximum coverage concealer brush i do think that this is the better brush, i think that you can apply less but you can apply it more carefully and only in places which you need to apply it. Many people over do do it on concealer and use to much and i think that this brush helps to prevent this from happening as you can only apply a bit at a time.

Original SPF 15 Foundation in medium £26.00- I LOVE THIS! This is one of my favorite foundations, i find the application so easy and because it is a powder it means no hands covered in foundation. I think that its build-able and you can add more if you need a better coverage which makes it perfect for almost anyone. It leaves a beautiful affect onto you face that leaves it looking soft and flawless. Many makeup artists use this foundation as it amazing for photos and gives no flash back. I do recommend this product to you as i find it simply amazing and im sure you will agree, no wonder its a best seller!.

Mineral veil in translucent £24.00 - I think that it was last valentines day my Nan brought me this in a smaller version, i was slightly confused on what it was however i watched tutorials and reviews on YouTube which educated me all about it (if you ever want information on a product YouTube is the best place to go). So after finding out what this product was i started to use it and i think its amazing. Basically its a powder you apply onto your face after applying makeup, its prolongs your makeup for the rest of the day and gives it a lovely flawless finish without adding any colour and i do think that if you are getting this product buy the translucent shade rather than a colour shade. So after using this smaller sized product and  had fallen in love i decided to visit the bare minerals counter in house of Fraser and buy a full sized one, its lasted me ages!

Bare minerals  Ready Blush £22.00-  This is one of my favorite blushers that i own and i have quite a few! It comes in 8 shades my one is the secrets out, It also comes with a brush however i like to use my kabuki brush as i feel like it spreads the blush over my face better than a miniature brush and leaves me looking less like a doll.

And so their you go, they were a few of my Bare Mineral favorites. I love the brand Bare Minerals especially for all their foundations , blushes , eye shadows. I don't think their brushes are a 10/10 and im still in love with the real techniques brushes, but just like they say you don't need to love the brushes to love the brand!

Cosmetic Organizer by Lori Greiner Review

Hey guys, whats up? Last Christmas I got the makeup organizer that I had wanted in a long time for Christmas. As you may know already , I have a guilty obsession watching QVC which is a TV shopping channel here in the UK which is also in the USA. Because I love makeup and all things beauty I thought that having an organizer which I could store my makeup in would be perfect, especially because I find it so annoying when I have to dig into my makeup bag to find something that I want. Having a makeup organizer also means that I know where each product is and so this saves me more time and more so when im in a rush to get out of the door in the morning.

This spinning makeup organizer can fit over 100 makeup products inside which is great, especially for me considering i live for makeup. I find this product really helpful and because it spins it helps to find the makeup quicker. The top section of the organizer can fit up to 18 lipsticks in however they can fit other small cosmetics inside too. The different sized compartments mean that you can fit anything in them, from eye pencils to lotions and eye palettes. The top part of organizer has a compartment which is detachable and so you can remove it to fit in long brushes. I put the brushes in the compartment without taking it apart and I put jewelry that i want to keep safe i the small secret compartment. I love this product and i really recommend it to anyone who wants more space in their bedroom rather than their collection of lipsticks taking over the house, I also think this is a  good way to see what you have and do not have as keeping all your makeup in a grubby plastic bag can mean that its difficult to find products.

If you would like to purchase this product then you can visit the QVC website, you can also buy this product on the american QVC website.

Stress No More

Hi everyone ,

i know that i haven't spoken to you in a while and I'm sorry for that, i have just had so much going on recently. These past few weeks have gone incredibly quickly with exams and all that and although I'm happy to get them over with there comes a sadness with all of it and so many emotions and it can be really difficult. The exams that i am sitting are not only a chance for me to express all that i have learnt over the past 5 years but it also shows how far I have come and grown since day 1. When i sit in the exam hall i look around and i see all these people who have all been on the same boat as myself, we have all gone on this journey together and sadly the journey is reaching the end for all of us, we will all be going off in our separate ways and the thought of this is heartbreaking, i know I'm not exactly best friends with each and everyone in our year however i still care for them , they have been a part of my life for almost 5 years which is a big thing for me.

Apart from the revision i have been trying to relax and to stay chilled, i think that this is really important right now as all these emotions can be overwhelming. When i want to relax the first thing i like to do is run a bath, i find this very relaxing especially as i will have to leave my phone on the side as i get worried that i will drop it in the bath (Just My Luck).
After a bath i like to get into bed and watch a movie, i love movies i can honestly say that i have seen every movie that you would ever want to watch, my all time favourites are Love Rosie , About time and The perks of being a wallflower (obviously) and quite ironically they are all British films, so if you are stuck in one day then check out these movies, each one will have you in tears.
My strange obsession right now has been incense sticks , i find them very relaxing and they help to clear you mind (perfect for the exam stress).  My favourite scents are the sandalwood sticks and jasmine. These are original scents rather then all that chocolate berry rubbish.

And so those were the rituals i like to follow when i need a break and relax, i find it funny that i am giving advice to you when i am not exactly in a position to give advice right now as i am a mess haha. but maybe this will help me, I promise that i will start posting regularly again.

If you have any tips on DE-stressing then please please share! If you are doing exams right now then good luck i hope it all goes well for you :)

Love Always,

Ellie xx

Letter to my younger self

Dear younger me,

Albert Einstein once said that the only reason for time in this world is so that everything does not happen all at once.

I know that you are probably worried about the future, you are the queen of worries but please, you have no reason to be your doing great, you have accomplished so much in so little time.

You will soon realize that you are stronger than you think you are. There will be times that will feel like its the end of the universe , you just need to remember that you have an amazing family that are always there to support you.

In just a few years you will no longer strive to fit in,  and when judgement comes you will simply look up at the sky and see self acceptance. There will come a time when you realize that not everyone on this planet can be controlled by you relentless of how much time and effort you put in to control them, there are people in your life right now that probably mean the world to you, but in the next few years some of them will fade out of your life and this is OK, its all a part of growing up as you will soon discover.

Just let the happening happen. Not everyone on this planet will love you and you will start to understand this, but it really does not matter, you have so many wonderful people in your family that love you so much, just don't forget it. You need to stop regretting events and people, remember that each moment you live through and each person you meet will have a drastic affect on the person that you become in the future(and i am quite happy). So just do your best and carry on as you are doing an amazing job, remember that you have family and friends that will always be there to support you no matter what decision you make in life. you are the best.

Dear younger self we have made it this far, and its together that we make an everlasting future for ourselves.

Love Always,

Ellie x

Festival Must haves for 2015

Good afternoon , i hope that you are a having a wonderful Saturday! so as you are most probably aware it is reaching summer time which can mean only one thing.. FESTIVALS! I am only 16 so it means that I can only just about go to festivals because some require you to be 18.

Anyway , I have booked to go to 2 festivals this year during summer, I think this is the perfect end of exams, leaving school event as its just you and your friends having an epic time. I am going to BST ( British summertime festival) this is at Hyde park in London, I thought that this one was a good one to start off with because it is just a day rather than a whole weekend. I am going with my best friend Molly, we are both very excited as the line up is Ellie Golding , John Newman , Taylor Swift and Vance Joy plus a range of other acts that i have never heard of, but that's ok.  I brought the tickets last year and I paid about £70  for them, id ask if you want to join me but they are no longer on sale :( .

The other festival that I am going to is in a place called Morris Farm near Chelmsford in Essex which is near to where I live which is good. its called Brownstock and it lasts over the weekend, the line up is quite good its all dance and DJ's,  like Sigma, Example , DJ fresh , Basement jaxx and good old lethal Bizzle.. There's lots of others but I would  be here forever. I think this festivals going to be very good, its smaller than most of them i think its because its fairly new, not like Creamfeilds or v festival. The tickets are £83 for the whole weekend which I think is very good considering most weekend tickets are sooo pricy! if you are interested then I will give you the link below as they are still on sale.

http://brownstock.gigantic.com/brownstock-festival-tickets

Anyway I have decided to share some of the things that I think I will need and I will be purchasing for the festival.. hope you enjoy :)
JUJU Vincent Wellies- I Think they are amazing, believe it or not they are wellies. this is something that I will defiantly need. The weather in England is so unpredictable and so wellies is a must, even if it hasn't rained in weeks people have told me it will most likely be squishy and muddy. I saw these on Topshop online however you can buy them on their website too they are £30.00, a lot of people have hunters but I think these are as nice and cheaper, after all they are wellies so paying £170 for a pair of wellies maybe a bit extreme.
http://www.jujuwellies.co.uk/styleinfo.aspx?type=wellies&id=VINCENTBLACK

Yellow ditsy floral hair garland New Look - Ok ok ok, I know everyone knows that if your going to go to a festival you have to wear a hair garland, but I just thought that I should include it anyway just in case there are girls even guys (if that's something you are into)didn't know about it. I like this hair piece as it isn't too over the top, I don't really like the big flowers, I don't think they suit me but they are pretty. I like the size of it too , not big but they are big enough to be seen on. you can get these in many colours too! the price of this is £3.99, I don't think that that is too bad considering that there's shops out their selling them for over £10.00. New look is very good for festival clothes that are affordable, you can still get the Coachella look!
http://www.newlook.com/shop/womens/jewellery-and-hair-accessories/yellow-ditsy-floral-hair-garland-_333459988

Topshop body art tattoo pens- You have seen the pictures, people covered in dots and patterns whilst dancing. Body art pens are a must for getting the festival look, normally they are paint but I think that these pens are far better and easier to carry. they are £5.50 for 6 different colours so not too bad!.
http://www.topshop.com/en/tsuk/product/body-art-tattoo-pens-4152153

Superdrug Batiste dry shampoo - Dry shampoo is such an amazing creation and perfect for festivals, I don't think that there will be any showers and if so I think I will get a turn if they are even usable. dry shampoo solves all the problems. this is travel size so it takes up less space and is only £1.50 from Superdrug. please please get out and buy some.
http://www.superdrug.com/Batiste/Batiste-Dry-Shampoo-On-The-Go-Tropical-50ml/p/578533#.VU5EJsLwvIU

ASOS MI-PAC Bum bag in bloom floral print- I love floral patterns and I think this bum bag looks very festivally (is that a word?)

! people have told me that it is always a good idea to bring a bum bag. it is attached to you so no need to lug around a bag all day and night, plus its less likely that you will loose it as you are connected. you can keep your money , phone , selfie stick and little bits and bobs in them , you will need one! you can buy it on ASOS for £16.99.

I could go on forever but I think these are of the essentials that you should bring to a festival. obviously you need money, clothes , underwear but I think the things that I have put are sometimes forgotten about or not thought about, I hope this has helped you! happy Saturday !!

Any questions? please comment or ask me over twitter! @justellie4

Benefit Cosmetics Makeup Haul & Review

Good evening everyone I hope you have had a great day :)

I was unsure on what I could blog today so I thought that I would talk to you about the products that I have from benefit at the moment. benefit was one of the first makeup brands that I was introduced and I do really like it.

ok here we go!

"they're real! push up liner" -  this gel push up liner is fab! I always find it difficult t find an eyeliner that works for me, eyeliner is a serious business and can be really difficult to use especially if the product isn't all that great however this product just works so well for me. it comes out in like a gel black paste and does not crumble. if you want the best eyeliner in your town then this is the one to get. your eyeliner will surely most defiantly be on point. you can purchase this product from https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/theyre-real-push-up-liner

"sexy little stowaways"- this cute gift set was a great buy, I like it because it comes with lots of miniature's to try. I am normally quite safe with makeup and I will only buy what I know , I don't always try new products as I get scared that they wont be right on my skin! however saying this I am glad as its something new to try before I pay for the full sizes. So this box set includes.. Hoola bronzer , the pore professional face primer , "that gal" brightening face primer, its potent eye cream , bad gal lash , bala bamba blusher, stay don't stray eye primer , oh la la lift, sunbeam. I think that the first product that I tried was the pore professional, I really liked this as it got rid of my pores before I applied foundation , it also left my skin looking even which helped me when I applied my foundation, with the primer I think the foundation lasts longer. Once I had used the face primer up I decided to invest in a full sized tube which I am quite pleased about. Another product I tried was the Hoola bronzer, I have seen lots of reviews on this product but I decided that I would make my own opinion on it. I Think that it is a good product but you need to have the right complexion and use the right brush otherwise it can look a bit dirty. it is not my best benefit product but I wouldn't say its great. if it is your first time using Hoola I would recommended doing what I have done and getting a miniature , its half the price and it will let you use the product to see if you like it before  you pay out for the full size. because I only got this set a few weeks ago I haven't tried everything yet however I will keep you updated when I do!
maybe you could let me know what your favourite benefit product is in this gift set?
you can buy this set from https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/parentsku/SEXYLTT249
"they're real! mascara" - There must be 1001 different mascaras out at the moment , each of them are fairly similar stating that they will give you extra volume or longer lashes however sometimes these mascaras become clumpy and dry up so so quickly no matter what you do to preserve the life of them. I do really like this mascara , I wouldn't say it is my favourite one that I've used , I still like my drugstore mascara however it can really lengthen your lashes without them becoming clumpy and fake looking, another thing I love about this product is that it lasts a long time, this is something you would hope for especially for the extra you are paying. you can buy this product from  https://www.benefitcosmetics.com/product/view/theyre-real

If you have any questions or you want to know about the products then please feel free to comment or contact me on twitter @justellie4 , I am also on Instagram so follow me!@justtellie4

Liz Earle..Cleanse And Polish Review

ok so I know I have already posted 2 posts today however while taking off my makeup today I had a great idea, why not give a little review on my favourite skin care product!

Liz Earle cleanse and polish!

one of my favourite things to do when I am bored is to flick the TV onto QVC which is a TV shopping channel here in the UK for any oversea readers, QVC only sells best of the best. Anyway whilst watching this with my skin the way it is right now which is in quite bad condition due to puberty and stress I thought why not try something new, all other skin care products out on the market didn't seem to be benefiting . The nice lady on the TV demonstrated how to use the product and really went into detail on what it does to your skin.
I was not too sure about the product but I was on the last resort and so I rang up the number and the lady on the phone sold me a bottle of the cleanse and polish hot cloth cleanser with muslin cloth, this was about 2 years ago when the brand only sold online and on QVC as far as I am aware.
once the product had arrived I decided to try it out, and since then 2 years later I am still using the product! I can honestly say that it is my favourite skin care product that you can buy today, it maybe priced at a little bit more than most other washes and cleansers but it is worth it! I think that my favourite part about its is that it comes with a cloth and so it becomes a big ritual and steps that you have to follow rather than that cheap wash that gets stuck on your skin for days after. the smell of the rosemary transports you and really calms you down especially after the stressful days I have at school. I find that the product is very good for getting rid of makeup that you haven't been able to remove but also good at replenishing your skin and hydrating it however not making it oily which is something which I have been trying to avoid in skin care products. cleanse and polish is very easy to apply and you only need a small amount so the bottle lasts you quite a long time. cleanse and polish has now become part of my daily routine and since it I have gone on to buy their other fantastic products like the skin toner which I find very relaxing and hydrating to my skin.
I started using the product when it was almost unknown , I kept it a secret like it was my own little secret formula but since then I have noticed how well the brand has done and more people are aware of the amazing skin changing products that they have to offer, I am both glad but sad as it is no longer my secret however it makes it easy to get a hold of.

so guys get yourself some cleanse and polish! I am 16years old and I use the product but so does my nan and she is 63 years old so it is suitable for people all ages!  I really do recommend this product and I hope that you have as much fun as I have done with it. :)

you can purchase the product from boots - http://www.boots.com/en/Liz-Earle/  £15.50

happy cleansing

love always,

Ellie

My makeup brush must haves

Hey guys what is up?

So I thought that I would give you a little talk about my favourite makeup brushes. I have only discovered makeup brushes recently and since then I have sworn by them. It first started after I had my makeover at MAC which you will see in my previous posts. I had a 45minute session with the makeup artist who gave me a lot of tips that I now find really helpful and so I thought that I would share these tips with you.

I cant remember  the woman's name but lets just call her Rebecca, ok so the first thing Rebecca said to me was that makeup brushes can be very good for applying foundation this is because you use less product , this is even better if you have decided to buy an expensive foundation and do not want to use all of it up. I don't know if you ever realise but I always find that when I pump the foundation out half of it gets stuck to my hand not only is this annoying as you are using up lots of product but it can be a nightmare to get of your hands. Anyway the foundation brushes can really help with this, another perk of using a foundation brush is that you can really blend the foundation into your skin and it can leave a nice effect and if you have any blemishes you can build up the foundation in those areas that you need to.

I have put together a few of my favourite makeup brushes that I like to use :)

1) REAL TECHNIQUES - expert face brush
- I use this brush for applying foundation, its good for blending the foundation into your skin.these brushes are available in most drugstores and online, I really recommend them and are good value for money.

2)Laura geller kabuki powder brush- this brush is really good for using compact powder, i find the hair on the brush very smooth so that it does not irritate my skin, the quality of the brushes are vey good i get mine on QVC.

3)MAC MAKEUP EYESHADOW BRUSH 224- I love this brush, i think a lot of people forget about eye shadow brushes when brush shopping for makeup equipment and when people do buy brushes they always buy the wrong ones , like i said before this is a new discovery for me and I really am glad that i have found this brush, the hair on this brush makes it easy to blend the colours  so there are no sharp lines. the texture of the brush is soft so that it does not irritate my eyes which i find perfect as I have sensitive eyes. If you are looking for an eye shadow brush this is the perfect one. you  can buy this brush from any MAC store or big department store with a mac stand.

Lets get personal

So ,

I have decided that I need to start making things a bit more personal rather than generic things like fate. I think making things personal will be a better idea for now just until I get more comfortable blogging, I also think that this will give you a chance to get to know me because I haven't really introduced myself to you. HEY! my name is Ellie Evans and I live in the UK in the East near southend on sea which is a little sea side resort on the coast of Essex, well they call it a resort but it isn't the best seaside in my opinion. I grew up in east end however I have not inherited the cockney accent which is rather pleasing as I am not a fan. I live with my mum and two younger sisters who are 6 and 8 years old, I love them to pieces however the frozen soundtrack gets a bit boring after listening to it 247 times. I currently have no pets although I used to have a little westie who was my best friend but sadly he went to doggy heaven I will post a picture below! I hope one day I get another dog as I love them, I would love pug or something small and squishy for cuddles. I am 16 years old and almost at the end of my school experience, I quite like being in education but only for the social side , the learning side is not my favourite. I am going to be doing a level 3 Betec extended diploma in health and social care which will allow me to go onto university so that I can become a midwife, I was inspired to become a midwife from watching two of a long list of my favourite programs - call the midwife and one born every minute. For people not in the Uk I recommend watching them on YouTube as they are very good series. My hobbies include shopping, makeup, art ,going out with friends ,travelling and shopping again.. so there you go, I hope you feel like you know me a bit more now, id love to find out about you so if you can comment something about yourself so that we can get  to know each other that would be great :)

XOXO, EE.

MAC Haul !

prom season is getting closer and after weeks of looking for places to get my makeup done at I have been unsuccessful and so i have taken matters into my own hands and have decided to do my own makeup. I enjoy putting on makeup and so i am not too worried about this i also think that no one knows how to put on makeup so you like it better than yourself. not only is this an easier way it can also be a cheaper way as you will not pay out for a person coming around to your house.

as i had decided to do my own makeup i decided to go on a visit to MAC in lakeside which is the nearest store to me, i waited about 45minutes till a makeup artist could see me, i didn't mind as she was very helpful. i told her the occasion and she picked out the right foundation colours for my skin tone, she also gave me advice on each product and how to apply it. I Think that this is vey useful as sometimes when you buy a new product you do not always know how to use it. I ended up spending far more than i had planned to spend however i got what i needed to get and i was also educated on each product and how to use it.

In my shopping bag I brought..
MAC studio fix foundation - i find this a fantastic coverage and lasts throughout the day, this is also perfect for prom as many pictures will be taken and it produces no flashback which is quite common. I recommend applying this foundation with a brush as you use less product and it can create a nicer finish.

MAC skin base - this is a face primer to use before applying the foundation and helps to prolong the makeup throughout the day and night. I like this product as it has all the nutrients for your skin so that it does not dry out with the matte foundation so you are not left with flaky patches of skin. This is also perfect for hiding open pores and marks and this helps to even out the skin tone. apply a small amount as if too much is used it can have the reverse effect.

MAC lipstick in faux- This is my fav. at the moment, i love the finish as it is not matte however not to glossy either, i think the colour is perfect as it is slightly nude which is the look that i wanted but gives an undertone of purple which really compliment the blue in my dress. the lipstick lasts a long time too as long as your not kissing any boys .

MAC studio fix powder- this is an alternative to the studio fix foundation and is exactly the same expect in powder form , i think that this is a good product to use for extra coverage in areas that you need it ie blemishes , i brought this as it will give me extra coverage in areas that i need it and more protection, i have been applying it using a kabuki brush however it does come with a sponge which is recommended.

If you are thinking about doing your own makeup for prom i recommend getting inspiration from www.pintrest.com as it is full of pictures and tutorials on how to have the perfect smoky eye etc. i also recommend YouTube as many you tubers have created makeup videos especially for prom.

Fate

Fate : "The development of events outside a persons control regarded as predetermined by a supernatural force".

I have been thinking about this a lot recently, when I look at how my life now and how it was a few years I go I think about how my life could of been different had i done something different. you begin to think about your life"what would of happened have I of not done this" or "if I hadn't of met this person what would of happened". and this outlook on things stems on what type of person you are for example-

Are you a ..

1) DREAMER - do you believe that everything happens for a reason.

2) REALIST- do you see life as a random set of coincidences and events.

if you look at the timeline of your life there will always be tangents that you can go off onto, every decision that you make can have a drastic change on your life whether you believe it or not. and I suppose I am asking all these questions to you because I am not sure what I believe in I would like to think that we all have a purpose in this life and sometimes things happen to us for reasons we cannot explain. and my question to you today is what type of person are you. are you a dreamer or a realist?
